Here's a very short, incomplete list of things I like.
- Comic books – Ever since I was a kid I've loved comics. Both the artists and titles are more numerous than I can completely list. Long-time favs include Stan Sakai (Usagi Yojimbo) and Mike Mignola (Hellboy). Other favorites include: Mouse Guard, Star Wars Clone Wars Adventures, Amulet...
- Movies – Tangled (Wow! Best. Animated. Disney. Ever. Or at least in a long time. Probably have to go back to Lilo and Stitch), Tron: Legacy (can you say made for 3D?), How to Train Your Dragon (brilliant), Avatar (great popcorn movie), Iron Man (both of them), Star Trek (Loved it! One of my faves of 2009), TMNT (The way the Turtles should be!), Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace (Pierce who?), anything by Pixar or Gendy Tartakovsky (Samurai Jack, the first animated Clone Wars, eagerly anticipating his Dark Crystal sequel.)
- N. C. Wyeth absolutely rocks!
- Japanese Woodblock prints
- Typography
- James Christensen has a great sense of whimsy.
- Reading – Too many to list. Mostly in the Fantasy and Sci-Fi realm. Notable series are: The Recluse Saga, Fablehaven and Leven Thumps are two of the more enjoyable series I've read. Looking forward to the Beyonders, Brandon Mull's new series.
- Watching TV (online) – Favorites include: Life, Burn Notice, Psych, Monk, Avatar: The Last Airbender (movie was horrible!), Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, White Collar, Leverage, The UnderCovers, Human Target, Chuck. Most of which I watch via Hulu or Netflix. (Other notable shows are MI-5, or Spooks, The Unit, heck I could go on all day...)
